A new book is about to take flight! It’s called Campfire Song Stories. I chose six stories that my daughter Karis and I imagined during long days in the hospital to combine into one fun volume to commemorate ten years since she left us. You’ll see her sense of humor and her creativity. Five young artists, one of them 12, and one young singer, 11, are working hard to complete their illustrations and songs to turn in with the narrative two weeks from now.
I love this project, and I think you will too! It will be out in November, in time for Christmas gifts for the children in your life. As a teaser, here’s an illustration one of the young artists sent me yesterday.
